Toshiba Sales And Services Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter known as “TSS”) makes the following limited warranties. These LIMITED WARRANTIES extend to the original purchaser (hereinafter known as the Purchaser) only and not to other purchaser or transferee.

1. Warranty is only effectively if the Product is purchased, operated and use in Malaysia only.
2. Purchaser or their authorised person is required to read the Owner's manual thoroughly before operating this Product.
3. The warranty for the Product is for home use only and does not extend to commercial activities or use of the Product by the Purchaser or by their authorised person (if any).
4. Warranty is null and void if the serial number or warranty seal appearing on the Product has been altered, tampered, defaced or removed.
5. Warranty does not cover External Appearance Part which includes cabinet, handles, knobs and accessories against damages, scratches, abnormal wear and ageing.
6. Warranty does not cover acts of God, lightning, natural disasters, pest attacks, external fires, negligence, accidents, improper installation, improper maintenance, unauthorised repair, abnormal voltage or use in violation of instructions manual furnished by Toshiba or TSS.
7. TSS shall not be liable in any event for consequential loss whether incidental or accidental.
8. TSS obligations and liabilities under or in relation to the warranty (including TSS's services for the Product) shall be limited to the cost of replacing the Product with the same or an equivalent Product or repair of the Product whichever is lower.
9. Purchaser is required to furnish the original purchase receipt of the Product, this warranty card for standard warranty together with the E-Warranty Statement (if any) for additional warranty prior to making claims to TSS. In the event if the Product is used by another person other than the Purchaser, a letter of authorisation from the Purchaser giving permission to that person the authority to use the Product shall be required for submission to TSS during the warranty period.
10. No person, dealer or company is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever.
11. This Product is free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship and if in the event that the Product should become defective, TSS warrant as herein below:-

A. LIMITED STANDARD WARRANTY

TSS warrants that the Two-Door Refrigerator Side By Side (2D) / Two-Door Refrigerator (2D) & Multi Door Refrigerator / One- Door Refrigerator (1D) / Chest Freezer Products and parts thereof (except for the “External Appearance Part” referred above) against manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of TWO (2) YEARS from the date of original purchase by the Purchaser. During this period, TSS subject to Clause 9 above , shall repair the defective Product or parts without any charges for the Purchaser provided that the entire Product is delivered to the authorized dealer, whom the Product was purchased from or TSS nearest service centre.

B. LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE COMPRESSOR OF THE PRODUCT

(a) TSS warrants that the Compressor in this Product is free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period of FIVE (5) YEARS for the One-Door Refrigerator (1D) / Chest Freezer Products from the date of original purchase from TSS authorized dealer. During this period, should the Product fails to function efficiently due to the damage or ineffectiveness of the installed Compressor, TSS will repair or replace the ineffective Compressor with an effective functional operative Compressor without any charges for the Purchaser (labour, transport, refrigerant gas refill charges are however excluded in the warranty) provided that the entire Product is delivered to TSS Service Centre.

(b) Purchaser is entitled to only one free replacement for the Compressor within the warranty period under this warranty. A grace period of three (3) months will be provided to determine the efficiency of the new Compressor installed to the Product (if any).

(c) Should parts are no longer available, obsolete or no longer in production for the repair of such Compressor, replacement will be made by TSS providing the Purchaser with a Product with similar features, capacity and efficiency function of the Product purchased by the Purchaser.

C. ADDITIONAL COMPRESSOR’S WARRANTY COVERAGE

This coverage is only applicable for the Two-Door Refrigerator Side By Side (2D) / Two-Door Refrigerator (2D) & Multi Door Refrigerator Product only wherein the Purchaser is entitled for a further period of TWELVE (12) YEARS* coverage in addition to the Warranty for the Compressor PROVIDED THAT the Purchaser has register for such additional coverage.
