TOSHIBA BECOMES FIRST JAPANESE GAS COOKER SUPPLIER

2021/03/21

[Dubai, UAE; 21 March 2021]: Toshiba today announced the expansion of its extensive catalogue of products to include its latest cooking range making it the first Japanese brand to supply gas cookers to consumers in the EMEA region.

Details Matter

Available in two sizes (60x60cm and 90x60cm), the products’ ergonomic design recognises consumers’ needs to include top-line safety features, such as flame failure protection (FFP) that automatically shuts off the gas supply when a flame is extinguished and a soft closing glass burner lid and door. The cookers’ enamel cavity is scratch and stain resistant, making cleaning and maintenance stress-free. Meanwhile, timeless aesthetics combine a stylish matte-gray anti-fingerprint finish with rose-gold embellishments for a smooth and exquisite look.

Empathy Matters

“Appreciative of our customers’ lack of time and love of quality, we’ve used our extensive product knowledge and consumer understanding to elevate our users’ cooking experience and guarantee excellent performance, with the launch of Lava. We always consider the Japanese values of precision and craftsmanship when designing our products, and our latest gas cooker range is no exception,” says Mr. Robin Kadyan, Business Head of Toshiba Home Appliances in Middle East Region.

Features Matter

A built-in thermostat and sensitive probe consistently monitor the temperature to automatically adjust the heat and work with an advanced convection fan, to assist in a professional and perfect cooking experience.

A double insulated, Low-E glass door secures heat by reflecting it into the cavity to prevent energy loss, while considerately insulating the outer door plate with a thermal shield. Compared to traditional tempered glass Low-E glass has superior heat insulation with 18%* lower surface temperature for a superior cooking experience.

Understanding the needs of busy families, the largest compartment volume is 115 litres to comfortably accommodate a large roasting pan or several different dishes, and a large drawer that can be used to keep serving dishes warm.

Relationships Matter

“We look forward to the continued growth of our working relationship with Toshiba and are delighted to be supplying our loyal end users with yet another high-quality product from them that we anticipate will be well received within the GCC.” Says Mr. Sachin Wadhwa, Managing Director, Al Futtaim Electronics.
